Costa Rica Tarrazu SHB is harvested by numerous smallholder farmers in the San Marcos region of Tarrazu. The coffee beans grown here are washed and patio sun dried to bring out their natural notes. They are SHB EP (Strictly Hard Bean) (European Preparation) create a delicious brew. Tarrazu is where Costa Rica coffee was born, known as "la cuna del cafe costarricense", "the cradle of Costa Rican coffee".
